In looking towards our tomorrow, the King Arts Complex has created a 2008/2009 magnificent season full of change --- stellar events and incredible activities and special events such as the annual Legends & Legacies program honoring Harry Belafonte, Danny Glover and James Early; the annual M.L.K. Community Open House featuring Sonia Sanchez; and, the fun-filled Anniversary Gala.

The Cultural Arts programs range from the opening exhibition of nationally renowned artist Xenobia Bailey to a multidisciplinary series celebrating the birthday of Bob Marley and the Men, Music, Message & the Movement through film, performance, discussion and exhibition. The line-up of performances in our Jazz on the Avenue series will stir the spirit, rock the soul and change the tempo by featuring Amiri Baraka & Rene McLean mixing poetry and jazz and Columbus' own Bobby Floyd. Change always comes bearing gifts. But change doesn't stop there!
